PVTRAK ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you provide directly when using the app:

• Account information — your email address and name, used to create and manage your account via Clerk authentication.
• Health & fitness data — habits you track, workout logs, cardio sessions, body weight entries, nutrition logs, and water intake. This data is stored on our servers and is tied to your account.
• Food search queries — when you search for foods, your query is sent to the USDA FoodData Central API to retrieve nutritional information. We do not store your search queries.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the PVTRAK experience across your devices.
• To display your progress, streaks, and statistics within the app.
• To process in-app purchases and manage your subscription status via RevenueCat.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

PVTRAK uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Clerk — handles authentication and account management. Clerk Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — processes in-app purchases and manages subscription entitlements. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• USDA FoodData Central — provides nutritional data for food search. Queries are made directly to the USDA API and are subject to USDA's terms of use. No personal information is sent.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Replit's infrastructure. All data is isolated per user account — no other user can access your data. Connections to our servers use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit.

5. Health Data

PVTRAK does not connect to Apple Health, Google Fit, or any other health platform. All health and fitness data you enter is stored solely within PVTRAK and is not shared with any health data aggregators.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the email address below. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days of your request.

7. Children's Privacy

PVTRAK is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
